Le Cirque Dubai is delighted to announce the residency of international pianist, Anders Flesche Klunderud. With an overwhelming repertoire, Anders is a delightful addition to the exciting and entertaining atmosphere of the DIFC restaurant.

With two albums as a member of the renowned group, The Gypsy Queens, and over a decade of global performances to his name, Anders will be sharing his talent and charm with the guests at Le Cirque Dubai every evening from Monday through to Friday, starting 8pm.

Klunderud’s story starts young, when he first fell in love with music. Inspired by his pianist father, Anders was surrounded by composers and artists, so it was natural for him to begin focusing his energy on classical music, before exploring blues, folk, pop and jazz.

After calling time on his professional football career, Klunderud decided to make music his foremost position. He moved to the south of France, and quickly became part of The Gypsy Queens, the famous busking group turned musicians to the stars. Years of travel, performing for private parties in all corners of the globe, alongside a residency in Nice, The Gypsie Queens signed a record deal and produced two albums. Klunderud spent time in Colombia in between, and found much inspiration behind the diverse culture inherent to the country.

After moving away from his role in The Gypsy Queens, Anders was approached for the Le Cirque Dubai position by a familiar face, Antoine Jaillet. “It was natural for me to propose our pianist position to Anders. I know him well from my time in a previous restaurant and his ability to enchant any venue was exactly the right fit for the energy we share here at Le Cirque”, Jaillet says.

Ander’s established history has enabled him to offer an extremely broad catalogue of music, with his song selection easily manoeuvred to suit a variety of guests and clientele. His worldwide experience and undeniable charisma make him an enviable addition to the Le Cirque calendar and there is no doubt that guests will warmly welcome him. The management team are delighted to have him as part of the restaurant family.
